About Me

My name is Tuomas Vihervaara and I am a freelance data consultant.

I translate data into valuable and comprehensible insights by utilizing Power BI and other business intelligence tools. With my 7+ years of solving business problems with data and analytics, I've helped over 15 companies, including some of the biggest companies in Finland, to make better decisions, improve results and generate cost savings with smart utilization of data.

Developing Power BI reports for various use cases: B2B sales, market pricing, marketing efficiency, website traffic and SEO reports, customer survey reporting etc.
Developing Power BI reports including a report with a capability to add and modify data using PowerApps.

Planning of Power BI Gateway setup in the organization
Developing a Power BI report of the tenant information to get a clear picture of the Power BI usage in the organization. PowerShell scripts were developed to get the necessary data.

Auditing and developing Power BI reports
Modifying a custom HubSpot connector to be able to fetch data from HubSpot custom fields

Power BI Developer, packaging industry (9/2021 - 10/2021)

Designed and developed a KPI dashboard for C-level use in a large organization. Development was made with Visual Studio in SSAS (SQL Server Analysis Services).
